Activity Coordinator In connection with the activity requirement being introduced in summer 2026, Piteå Municipality is now seeking two activity coordinators for this assignment. The role has a clear and socially important purpose: to ensure that individuals receiving financial assistance have access to relevant and meaningful activities that lead toward the goal of self-sufficiency. The coordinator has overall responsibility for coordinating work between the Support for Livelihood, Labor Market and Integration unit, Adult Education, and the activities that provide activity placements, both within the municipality and in collaboration with the business sector. The role is to create functioning processes, ensure quality, and contribute to efficient and legally sound working methods. This is a key role for you who wants to work in a structured manner in a coordinating function and contribute to the municipality's work being conducted efficiently and effectively. About the Position As a coordinator for the activity requirement, you are responsible for keeping the entire process together from completed assessment to implemented activity. The role is organizationally placed within the Support for Livelihood unit. You work both operatively and strategically with a focus on processes, coordination, and quality. Responsibilities The role includes, among other things: Coordinating and developing activity placements within the municipality's operations and in collaboration with the business sector Ensuring that placements occur promptly and without unnecessary waiting times Developing routines/processes to ensure a functioning process Conducting improvements in work methods Contributing to equitable and legally sound application of the activity requirement Evaluation at organizational and individual level Feedback to the responsible unit manager Based on the fact that the legislation is new, the work tasks may change over time. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: Relevant higher education in social work, for example as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Experience in collaborating between different actors Good ability to work in a structured and independent manner Good documentation and communication skills You thrive in a role where collaboration is a natural part of everyday work. Meritorious: Good knowledge of the municipality's various operations and the business sector Knowledge of financial assistance and activity requirements Experience with development or improvement work We place great importance on personal competence. To succeed in this role, we see that you are: Relationship-building and solution-oriented Structured with good overall perspective Responsible and accustomed to driving issues/processes forward A driver's license (Category B) is required More About the Position The position is a project employment starting 2026-09-01 -- 2028-12-31, full-time.
