We are now looking for a summer substitute care worker who is responsible, empathetic, and committed to our 20-year-old customer in Västerås. The summer substitute position is approximately 80% during weeks 28-36. There are great opportunities to stay on as a substitute into the fall. You are attentive to small details but also see the bigger picture and strive for perfection. You can bring humor and lightness to the job. You speak Swedish fluently in both spoken and written form, are tobacco-free, and are not allergic to fur (pets are in the home). A driver's license is required as the customer has their own car. Our customer is a young woman with multiple disabilities, cerebral palsy, and an intellectual disability. This means she needs assistance in all situations to meet her needs and interests. However, her extensive care needs do not prevent her from finding fun activities every day! In your role, you will plan and structure her day so that every day feels meaningful. Your workday can look many different ways, but the care routines are the same, and your most important task is to ensure the customer feels well and lives a fun, secure, and meaningful life. You work wherever the customer needs—whether it's a doctor's appointment, game night at a friend's, or a family celebration. You always work together with a colleague during your shift. Experience in care work in some form is a plus, but the most important thing is your wonderful personality and your willingness to always be your best self at work! We are looking for you if you: Are cheerful, proactive, thorough, and responsible Have good organizational skills and like taking responsibility Are a reliable team player who can also work independently Are engaged, attentive, and have good communication skills Speak Swedish fluently in both spoken and written form Are tobacco-free and not allergic to fur (pets are in the home) Have a Class B driver's license—a requirement, as the customer has their own car Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement.
