You assist him best by helping create the calm and daily structure he needs to continue following the positive development path that characterizes his life right now. Work tasks and responsibilities: As a personal assistant, you support him in daily routines like cooking, laundry, cleaning, personal hygiene, and medication – while keeping an eye on his general health and wellbeing. You mediate, clarify, and increase understanding in social and private contexts when communication alone isn't enough. You participate in activities and daily adventures that contribute to a stimulating and meaningful everyday life. The role requires you to be punctual and structured – but also have a hidden talent for spontaneity and improvisation. You need to have a grounded respect for home, household, and other people. With attentiveness, curiosity, and the desire to balance compassion with professionalism, you become a support for both the user and his family. Prior knowledge of sign language or TakK is a merit, but not necessary. If you have openness and the will to learn, you can develop it on the job.
